Review of the UDITER S3 Lava Longboard: Perfect for College Commuting

26 Sep 2025 0 comments

If you’re on the hunt for an affordable and reliable electric longboard, the UDITER S3 Lava might just be what you need. It offers great performance without breaking the bank. Here’s a firsthand account from a customer who recently purchased it:

Hello skateboarders! Welcome to my Stony Brook dorm. Apologies for the messy bed, but today I’ll be reviewing UDITER’s  S3 Lava longboard. So, a little about me. I came into college as a freshman and I looked around. I saw people with skateboards everywhere. I thought about it as the best way to commute from class to class. So, I got myself a skateboard, but little did I know, this was extremely hard to learn. It was inefficient to go to class and I got stuck in way too many cracks. So, naturally, I did a little more research and I learned about what cruise boards were.

Now, this board itself actually lasted me a very long time. I probably rode it for around 3 months. But as the winter season came, the weather started getting way windier and way colder. So, it was just way harder to move on a skateboard. And just like that, I started walking to my classes again. And that was really boring. That really made me want electric skateboards for a really long time—probably like 3 or 4 months. I was just thinking about electric skateboards. But as you guys know, electric skateboards are expensive and most of them break the budget. They go from like what, $350 if they’re cheap to like $500 for a solid good electric skateboard that’s going to fulfill your needs.

But that’s where the UDITER  S3 Lava came in. The thing that I love the most about this board is that it doesn’t break the budget. I got this board for about $280 on sale from Amazon. To be honest, it performs just like any other board that I’ve ridden on. Like I’ve tried my friends’ boards, mini boards, and this board; it has the same mileage, the same top speed, and the performance is nearly identical. If anything, if you guys look at these wheels, I would say that the board is actually a little better as these wheels are much bigger than what you would find on normal boards, which just makes the riding experience so much better.

Additionally, the board also comes with a removable battery. So, if you forget to charge your board or something, simply replace your battery, and you’re ready to go again. The board is also really long, which helps stabilize yourself. For all skill levels, this board is really quite simple to ride. The remote control right over here actually has four speeds that you can control for every level. As you can see, this is speed three, four, one, and two, which lets you control the speed for your skill level. You could also double-click the power button to make the board go in reverse. So, if you ever needed to parallel park, you could do that too.

To summarize, the board’s performance is nearly identical to any other board that you would see on the market, but for a much more budget-friendly price. It’s also arguably somewhat better, and the board overall does not disappoint. Additionally, if you guys do have the budget, this UDITER company is unique in that it sells boards with an LED screen. I didn’t get that because, you know, college is already expensive enough. But there’s that really unique aspect of electric skateboards that you don’t see with that LED screen. So, if you guys want that, that must be amazing too.

So, let’s see how this board rides. As you guys can see, that was an excellent ride with the UDITER Board. Even on wet roads and in the rain, this board took it like a champ. There really is not much else to say but to get this board for yourself, guys. Try it out!
