Origin of UDITER Pixel RIDER Electric Skateboard
One of our founders, Jack, discovered that some of his friends, who are as passionate about electric skateboards as he is, would purchase an electric skateboard solely for its design. However, they often found that they didn't enjoy the riding experience after the purchase, resulting in a collection of barely-used electric skateboards. This realization inspired Jack deeply. He envisioned designing an electric skateboard that could offer customizable designs to meet the personalized needs of passionate riders. Thus, the UDITER Pixel Rider was born, combining innovative technology with a platform for self-expression.

After two years and 113 tests, our UDITER team finally succeeded in creating an electric skateboard with a full LED screen deck. Let’s explore how the LED screen enhances the electric skateboard experience.
1. Customizable LED Screen on Electric Skateboard Deck
The LED screen connects to a mobile app via Bluetooth, allowing you to display personalized images, dynamic GIFs, and eye-catching text. This feature ensures high visibility and captures the viewer's attention. With this innovation, there is no longer a need to settle for a single design. The graphic displayed on your electric skateboard can be fully customized, effectively transforming your board into a canvas for self-expression.
2. Anti-collision Embedded LED Screen Deck
The Pixel Rider electric skateboard deck is constructed from 11 layers of bamboo and 5 layers of maple, ensuring stability and comfort, with a maximum weight capacity of up to 330lbs (150kg). In the design of the LED screen embedded deck, we took into consideration the need for heavy protection of the LED screen, as each LED bead inside is easily crushed and broken. Therefore, in designing the deck, we reserved a 2cm position on the edge of the deck and hollowed out a 5.5mm sunken groove to securely hold the LED screen. This ensures that even in the event of a collision during riding, the screen remains protected from damage.
3. Waterproof LED Screen Deck
The UDITER Pixel Rider's LED screen is designed to be waterproof, eliminating concerns about rain damage, and allowing you to enjoy your electric skateboard riding without worry. Each individual LED bead is covered by a special adhesive layer, ensuring durability and longevity. This waterproof design not only protects the screen but also maintains the performance of the LED screen, making the Pixel Rider a reliable companion for all your adventures.
4. Anti-Slip Transparent Silicone Grip Tape
The grip tape of UDITER Pixel Rider is crafted from a black transparent silicone material that not only provides anti-slip properties but also effectively reduces glare from the LED lights. The innovative design of silicone grip tape incorporates specialized particles to deliver the same level of non-slip functionality as traditional grip tape, ensuring optimal traction and stability for you while riding on an LED screen electric skateboard.
5. Low-power LED Beads
The LED screen embedded in the electric skateboard deck is made of 4096 LED beads. It operates at 5-8 watts, with a peak power of 25 watts. The swappable battery of the Pixel Rider electric skateboard has a capacity of 328 watt-hours (Wh), so the screen's power usage has a negligible impact on the overall range. Besides, we have included a screen switch option in the mobile App, allowing you to turn off the screen when not needed to save energy. The ESC is designed to automatically shut off the power if the electric skateboard remains stationary for 5 minutes, preventing unnecessary battery drain.
